6 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, Murchison Falls, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Parks : Safaris to Uganda are full of surprises at each turn and quite often need longer time with a slightly bigger wallet to have maximum satisfaction. Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls.
The Uganda tour begins when driver picks you up at 7.30 am and you begin your day’s exciting adventure out of Kampala. You will branch off to Ziwa sanctuary for your first cup of hot coffee in the wilderness and later go on an exciting Uganda tourism activity; rhino tracking. You will have lunch in Masindi town and later drive on to the top of Murchison Falls for a walk and photo opportunity before checking in hotel for an overnight.
Day 2: Game drive, boat
Get up with the early bird and take a hot cup of coffee before getting into the waiting safari car for a ranger guided game viewing safari. Explore the grassland plains on the lookout for big mammals, birds and lush vegetation. Big herds of mammals; Elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hartebeest, oribis, waterbucks, Uganda kobs are roaming the plains with big swarms of birds soaring in the air. You can never wish to come out of this oasis of blessedness. Get back to hotel and take an early in preparation for a boat cruise. This is the pinnacle of beauty as you meet huge elephants, uncompromising buffalos and other mammals cooling the irritating heat of the day in the Nile as giant hippos and Nile crocodiles bask in the hot sun to warm their bodies. The lovers of birds this is the most opportune time to site those elusive water birds you longed to see. Get back to hotel and relax till dinner and lights fade.
Day 3: Transfer to Fort Portal
Get up with the morning light, take a cup of coffee and with lunch boxes get moving out of the park. You will pass by big herds of long horned Ankole cattle grazing by the roadside and indigenous people attending to their plantations. You will reach Fort Portal in the afternoon and check in at your hotel.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking
Wake up early in the morning, take a hot cup of coffee to excite your body and get in the moods of meeting human kind’s closest wildlife. You will get to Kanyanchu tourism office and get clearances, meet ranger guides and briefing about forest regulations. You will then have the whole forests to yourselves. Explore it and learn lots of things about survival in the wilderness. There are so many other wildlife species apart from chimpanzees in the forests. You will get back and take a brief rest under tree shades in the lawns. You will transfer to Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon, crossing the equator line crossing area before checking in your hotel and refresh your energies till dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Get up with the first bird and take a cup of coffee before getting onto the waiting van for a game drive in the wilderness. You will drive to Kasenyi areas and visit the mating grounds in search of predators trailing behind big herds of prey. Learn about the wilderness games of survival before getting back to hotel for lunch. You will go on an afternoon boat cruise and get more up close to mammals than before. You will get back to hotel and relax rest of evening.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park-Kampala/Entebbe
Enjoy your Uganda safari with a lengthy morning sleep and re-energise your body. You will take breakfast at leisure and then head to Kampala taking Mbarara road. Brief stops at Kichwamba escarpments and Igara tea plantations for photo opportunity. You will visit a museum at Igongo and have an African buffet lunch. You will have last brief stop at equator line crossing area at Kayabwe and arrive late afternoon in Kampala city. The safari driver will take you to an agreed place to mark end of Uganda safari.
