Day 1: Arrival to Kigali.
Upon your arrival to Kigali airport following your Congo excursions , your guide who is   our company representative will meet you and brief you about your Congo gorilla safaris, he will them drive you to Kisoro town in Uganda  in south western Uganda which is the major vantage point for accessing the Democratic Republic of Congo  Virunga national park. Your will check in at your lodge in Kisoro town for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2:  Transfer to Virunga national park Congo – gorilla tracking.
Early in the morning after breakfast, your guide will drive you crossing the border into Congo   a 30 minutes’ drive. As soon as you are done crossing, you will head straight to Virunga national park headquarters. You will receive briefing about the dos and don’ts about gorilla tracking be assigned a park ranger and later proceed to the forest in search for the silver back and families, gorilla keep wondering in the forest also it unknown the time. But the time range for tracking and finding them is 2-7 hours. Upon meeting them you will be allowed to spend an hour with them taking photos and interacting with them. Later after tracking you will descend and meet up with your guide who will drive you to place of accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: transfer to mountain nyiragongo base.
In the morning after breakfast, your guide will drive to the base of mountain Nyiragongo in preparation for the hike in the following day in the morning. During the course of your journey you will travel to the parts of Virunga through the rainforest with a view of wildlife and bird species which is another optical nutrition. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: hike Mountain Nyiragongo.
Early in the morning after breakfast, your guide will   take you to the park headquarters to register for the tracking exercise. You will be assigned a local guide and a porter to help you in case you have equipment to carry. Begin your trail climbing up mountain Nyiragongo, the climb takes about 4- 6 hours depending on the strength of the climbers and the weather. When you reach the summit you will stay at the cabanas dinner will be served and sleep at the summit.
Day 5: Descend mount Nyiragongo.
After your breakfast from the summit, you will organize your stuff and begin descending. Once you get to the base, you will reunite with your guide who will drive you to Goma a northern park of Lake Kivu for a city tour. You will be able to see the impact of the disaster that struck Goma in 2002 when Mountain Nyiragongo erupted, you be able to see the cars and structures that got trapped in the lava. Later you will return to Kisoro town in Uganda crossing the border of DRC to Uganda. When you get to Kisoro, you will check it at your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Return to Kigali.
After breakfast, you guide will cross with you from Uganda to Rwanda   the drive is a scenic one with a view of the beautiful hills, get to Kigali and if time allows you will a brief tour of Kigali city to the genocide memorial site, cultural and historical websites, visit the local handcraft shops and get souvenirs for taking home with you.
