5 Day gorilla and wildlife safari in Uganda
This 5 Day gorilla and wildlife safari in Uganda will begin and end in Kampala, Uganda, and during that time you will have an extraordinary experience as you travel to some of that country’s best national parks, including Queen Elizabeth National Park for game viewing and a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel and Bwindi Impenetrable, where you will track mountain gorillas. The largest population of mountain gorillas in the world is in Bwindi.
Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Bwindi forest National park.
Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, give you a briefing, and then drive you to the Bwindi forest in the southwest. Make two stops: the first at the Equator to browse the shops and take pictures, and the second in Mbarara to eat lunch. Once you arrive in the evening, continue your journey to this spectacular forest, which is home to mountain gorillas and other primate species. After dinner, stay the night. Day 2: Gorilla trekking activity.
After a satisfying breakfast, make sure to bring a packed lunch from the hotel so you may head straight to the park headquarters for briefing . Here, you can meet other hikers and get information on going in search of gorillas. Later, you will start your journey under the guidance of park ranger guides who are educated about these gorillas. Depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas at that moment, the duration of your trip could be between 2 and 8 hours.
You are urged to wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of drink, sunglasses, raincoats, and caps. Only an hour will you be permitted to spend with the gorillas. Go back to your resort and unwind. You can choose to rest at the lodge during the evenings or go to the Batwa community, where you can learn a lot about their culture and customs. Stay the night and return for dinner.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
Drive to after breakfast through the Ishasha sector, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions and other animal species including monkeys, kobs, buffaloes, elephants, and birds, among others. Once you get to the parkQueen Elizabeth , you’ll check in at the lodge and eat a delicious lunch there before getting ready for a afternoon game drive in the park in search for wildlife . Dinner is served at the resort; stay the night. Day 4 : Morning game drive in the park and afternoon boat cruise on kazinga channel.
Get up early prepare, the Kasenyi track and other tracks offer opportunities to see lions, buffalo, antelopes, and elephants. Once you’ve had a cup of coffee, head out for a game drive. As you prepare for the boat tour on the Kazinga channel, one of the best things to do when visiting this park, travel back to the lodge after breakfast and lunch. Later, eat dinner there and spend the night.
Day 5: Exit the park and head back to Kampala.
Get up in the morning and have a relaxed breakfast, later check out and head back to Kampala.
