Mnemba Island

Mnemba Island  : Situated within a coral reef halo, Mnemba Island is a small, isolated island 3km off the northeast coast of Unguja. A casuarina pine forest and immaculate white sand beaches cover the island.

There are 12 opulent beachside bandas on the island that can host 24 people, and the devoted staff outnumber visitors by a ratio of two to one. The island’s 1.5-kilometer radius and roughly triangular shape give it a cozy atmosphere.

Although the island is well-known for its renowned visitors, families, honeymooners, and anyone else seeking the ultimate barefoot luxury experience will find it to be a fantastic post-safari retreat.

Directions to Mnemba Island
You will be picked up by one of &Beyond’s own drivers from Stone Town, the capital of Zanzibar, or Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, the primary airport. Flights to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport come from Europe, the Middle East, and East Africa.

The last 20 minutes of the 1.5-hour drive over Unguja are spent on a rough, gravel route.

After that, you will ride across pristine waters on an open-top boat for fifteen minutes.

Your takeoff and landing will need some wading because there are no jetties, but the personnel will make sure that it’s as comfortable as possible.

The chef frequently stops by at mealtimes to make sure everyone is satisfied with the cuisine, and you may let him know if there are any special dietary needs.

You may anticipate lobster, crab, prawns, and many more delicacies on the menus, which always feature fresh seafood harvested on the traditional ngalawa outriggers.

Many patrons enjoy a cocktail at the bar before dinner while taking in the gorgeous sunset. As an alternative, those who would rather be left alone can order sushi and champagne to be delivered to their sun loungers.
