This 9 Days Rwanda gorilla trekking and Serengeti safari Vacation Package features visit to Rwanda’s mountain gorillas in the volcanoes national park in Musanze district and Tanzania’s Big Five wildlife. You will see Rwanda gorillas and later embark on game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Serengeti National Park, respectively, with our specially designed and 9 Days Rwanda gorilla trekking and Serengeti safari travel package. The trip commences from Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, and later transfer to Arusha, Tanzania known as the tourism hub of Tanzania close to the multiple national parks which provides the ideal setting for seeing wildlife, including the Big Five Mammals and predators, in their native habitats in the Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Serengeti national parks.

Note that this travel package can be reserved all year round, however the schedule can be altered to include accommodation if you are flexible for that, you can also include flight to Kogatende Airstrip if   you  want to take part in the annual wildebeest migration mara river crossing in the months of July and August  and October.

 Day 1: Arrival at and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
You will meet your driver/guide the select adventure safaris  at your hotel in Kigali City or at Kigali International Airport, if time allows you will take park in a brief Kigali city tour visit the Kigali genocide memorial and a few craft shops to get some souvenirs to take back home , you will  then embark on a drive to Volcanoes National Park, which is about two hours’ drive north of Kigali, where you will have time for lunch, dinner, and sleep.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and afternoon visit to Ibyiwacu cultural village.
Following breakfast today, you will be taken to the park headquarters to receive a briefing on the regulations governing gorilla trekking. After entering the jungle, you will begin your hunt for the mountain gorillas. Once you locate them, you will spend an hour with them, which will be an amazing experience for all, later head back to the lodge for lunch and brief relaxation.  later in the afternoon You will have the chance to learn about Rwandan culture, customs, and traditions by visiting the nearby community of Iby’iwacu in the afternoon. Day 3: Pick up from hotel in Kigali and transfer to the airport and transfer to Kilimanjaro airport.

Depending on your travel itinerary, you will be taken to Kigali International Airport after breakfast, from where you will board your aircraft to Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will be taken to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and the night after landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Pick up from hotel in Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National park.
Following breakfast this morning, you will travel to Tarangire National Park. Tanzania’s greatest concentration of three thousand elephants is found in this area. Day 5: Afternoon game drive and transfer to Central Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, travel via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti National Park, which is home to three million animals and is larger than any savannah protected area on Earth. After driving all the way to the Central Serengeti, you will check into your lodging, eat lunch, and then take an afternoon wildlife drive before arriving back at your lodging late at night. At your lodge, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6: All day Plains of the Serengeti
Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of your trip is today. Following a hearty breakfast, you will begin your journey a bit earlier than normal by embarking on a game drive across the Central and Western Serengeti, where you will encounter numerous native creatures such as zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, carnivores, and numerous other species.

Day 8: Travel to the Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Conservation Area.
Following breakfast this morning, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will then accompany a ranger on an exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater. This area is compared to Garden of Eden on earth. The big numbers of wildlife can be spotted in a day including all big five, the elephant, black rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetahs, and lots of hyenas, hippos, zebra and wildebeest being the most abundant. You will take a break for lunch. in the afternoon, you will continue game viewing in the south corner of the park where you visit Lake Magadi where you can see flamingos, hippos and other water birds. After the game drive you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 9: Departure at Kilimanjaro airport
