This 7 days Rwanda gorilla & Uganda primate, wildlife tour consists of multiples activities and many places to visit it include gorilla trekking at volcanoes national park, crossing into Uganda for wildlife experience at queen Elizabeth national park and later visiting Kibale forest national park home for the biggest number of primate in east Africa, trekking chimpanzee there in .
Day 1: Kigali city tour and transfer to volcanoes national park
Upon your arrival to Rwanda, your guide will pick and will start on a kigali city tour, among the places you will be able to visit are: gisozi memorial site, the museum and the handcraft market. Be able to experience Rwanda and its rich culture. Head for lunch, later after lunch you will drive to volcanoes national park, check in at your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: gorilla trekking at volcanoes national park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will converge at park headquarters, get briefed about the dos and don’ts involved in gorilla trekking on top of being assigned a gorilla family to track from and a game ranger to take you for the exercise. Later head to the forest on search for the gorilla, the activity can take you 1- 6 hours to find the gentle giants, this is dependent on the fact that the gorillas are always on the move. Upon finding them, exciting will fill you, take photos and interact with them bearing in mind that you are only given a maximum of 1 hour to spend with them. Later return for lunch and drive to Uganda crossing the chanika border and you will have you stay around Lake Buyonyi at bird’s nest or bunyoyi resort.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Wake up to another safari filled experience have breakfast and embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth national park through ruhija and to ishasha sector, you have the opportunity to see the tree climbing lions. Have lunch and proceed to the queen Elizabeth Park in time for the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. While on the launch cruise, you will be able to see several wildlife including the biggest number of hippos in east Africa, see elephants, herds of buffaloes, giraffes, crocodiles and several bird species at the shores. Later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: an early morning game drive at Queen Elizabeth Park and transfer to Kibale forest national park.
Early in the morning, you guide will drive you to several tracks in the park in search for several animal, you have the opportunity to catch the early morning raisers, see warthog, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and many more. Later return to your lodge for breakfast, relaxation and lunch later after lunch you will embark on a journey to Kibale forest national park home to several species of primates including chimpanzees. Check in at your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: chimpanzee trekking and bigodi swamp walk.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters in for briefing. later you will move in the forest searching for the chimpanzees, while on you search you will comes across other primates such as the l’hoest monkeys, vervet monkey, olive baboons, colobus monkeys, upon finding the chimpanzees, you will take photos, videos of them for about an hour. Later you head for lunch and a brief relaxation. After lunch, you will head for bigodi swamp walk/ nature walk there you will come across several birds and wildlife species, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: transfer to kampala.
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Uganda’s capital city Kampala visiting a number of places like the Nakayima tree found in Mubende. You will enjoy great sightseeing and photography along the drive. You will dine and spend the night at Budget – Landmark view Hotel, Deluxe – Cassia Lodge, or Luxury – Serena Hotel
Day 7: Kampala city tour and departure.
Wake to city of Kampala climaxing your stay in Uganda, you will head for a kampala city tour visiting sites such as the Uganda museum, Uganda martyrs shrine namugongo, bahai temple, kasubi tombs and many more. Head for lunch and after lunch depending on the time of your flight, you will be driven to the airport for scheduled flight back home.
