3 Days Congo gorilla trekking tour : Immerse yourself in the  land of    wealth ( Congo) in a 3 days  Congo gorilla tour. The trip entails   landing in Kigali Rwanda and transferring to Congo through the Rwanda Congo Border to Goma. see yourself in  to the Virunga ranges and to Virunga national park  the home of the Congo   mountain gorillas.  Trek the gentles giants and  mingle with them  interacting with  them to know how they go about their  daily rouitines of eating and nesting.   The trips starts and ends in  Kigali.

For the   record, Congo mountain gorilla trekking is the cheapest as compared to   Rwanda gorilla trekking and Uganda gorilla trekking. This is attributed to the fact the that the gorilla trekking permits in  Congo cost less than in Uganda and Rwanda

 

 Brief safari itinerary

Day 1:  pick up from Kigali  to Goma and to the lodge at Virunga national park

Day 2:  gorilla trekking

Day 3:  transfer to  back to kagali.

 Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:  Pick up from Kigali and transfer to  Congo in Bukima.

 Following your 3 days Congo gorilla trekking safari, the guide will pick you from your hotel or accommodation, you will drive through Kigali  and  to the countryside , seeing some the lushest  countryside.  Upon the arrival at the border, you will cross to congo and side and proceed to Virunga. Upon arrival, you will check in at your place for dinner and an overnight stay.

Accommodation options: mikeno lodge and Bukima tentend camp.

Day 2:  Gorilla trekking

In the morning after breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters, you will be briefed on the do and don’ts involving gorilla trekking, later you head into the jungle in search for gorillas. The virunga great area with encompasses Uganda, Rwanda and Congo is   the only area that harbors the endangered mountain gorillas.  As you transcend into the jungles searching for the gorillas, you will start noticing sign  and sounds of tree branches breaking  which is a clear sign of gorillas. Upon meeting them, you will be given a maximum of 1 hour to spend with them   and later transfer  to your place of accommodation for a relxation

Day 3: transfer back to Kigali.

Get up to a relaxed breakfasts and later bid farewell to you in Virunga as you check, later embark on a drive to  Kigali. You will arrive in time for your flight home.
