Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi forest National park.
You will be picked up at your Kampala hotel, or at the airport, or a mutually convenient site nearby, and transported to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in western Uganda, which is about 540 kilometers from Kampala by vehicle. You will make two stops: one in Mbarara town for lunch and another at the equator for pictures and the experiment.
Continue to Bwindi and arrive there in the evening, Dinner will be at your lodge.
Day 2 : Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest National park
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the morning, then head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing from the ranger guides before beginning your hike through the forest.
Depending on the gorillas’ movements, Bwindi gorilla trekking can last anywhere from two to eight hours. There is no way to predict where these primates will be on any given day as they are allowed to freely explore the park.
After your gorilla walk in Bwindi, Uganda, you can relax at the hotel or take a village tour as you reminisce about your experience and get ready for the next day. Retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Return Back to Kampala.
After breakfast, you’ll travel back to Kampala, stopping in Mbarara town for lunch. Continue to Kampala and arrive there in the afternoon. Drop off at your Kampala hotel or the Entebbe airport in preparation for your next trip.
