Gorilla Trekking 
Gorilla trekking is one of the most incredible experiences and activities one can ever carry out while on a tour in Africa. This obviously adventurous activity involves a trail into the rich jungles where the gentle giants call home, the entire activity could run for 1- 6 hours depending on the destination you wish or undertake the it from and once the you meet the gorillas all you can do is forget the time you spent searching for them but rather make the most of the time you are to spend with then which is usually a maximum of one hour.
Mounting gorilla trekking is conducted in three countries, with two in east Africa and one in central Africa. The countries include Uganda, Rwanda, and Democratic republic of Congo.

In Uganda, gorilla trekking is done at Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and mgahinga national park, situated in the south western part of the country in the districts of Kanungu and Kisoro respectively, While on Rwanda gorilla trekking is conducted in volcanoes Rwanda national park in Ruhengeri district and in Congo gorilla trekking is conducted at Virunga national park  for mountain gorillas and kuhuzi biega national park for lowland gorillas.
