Detailed itinerary of 7 Days Kenya Wildlife Experience

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Amboseli

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative- your safari driver – guide and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park after a short briefing.

You will arrive in the park at around midi-day, check in at the lodge at lunch time. You will enjoy your meals and have a short rest. Later head for an afternoon game drive in the park.

Amboseli National Park is a second popular National Park in Kenya after Masai Mara well known for its large herds of elephants and the scenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and its snow-capped summit.

During the game drive, you will encounter different wildlife species like zebras, lions, lesser kudu, buffaloes, giraffes, wild dogs among others. After the game viewing experience, return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli

Wake up to the amazing viewing of towering Kilimanjaro Mountain – the highest mountain in Africa. After a sumptuous breakfast you will head out for full day game drive in the park with your packed lunch boxes, you will visit different observation points where you will be able to view the expansive park below and its wildlife roaming around freely.

After enjoying excellent sightings of several animals, you will return to the lodge.

Alternatively, you can have an optional visit to the nearby Masai Village for cultural experience. Have Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

Following a sumptuous breakfast meal, you will depart Amboseli National Park and drive to Lake Naivasha. Along the way you will enjoy scenic views of Kenya’s countryside, have a brief stopover at The Great Rift Valley Viewpoint where you will enjoy spectacular views of the escarpment.

Continue to Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in lunch time, check in at your lodge and enjoy your meals. Later head to the lake for a boat ride to Crescent Island where you will have a walking safari and get a closer encounter with animals like zebras, giraffes and buffaloes among others.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. When you arrive in the park, you will have en-route game drive to your safari lodge where you will have lunch and a short rest before heading out for an evening game drive in the park.

Lake Nakuru National Park is a wildlife viewing hot spot and home to different wildlife species. During the afternoon game drive, you will enjoy sightings of various birdlife including flamingoes on the shores of the lake and wildlife like black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, cape buffaloes, olive baboons, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, spotted hyenas, zebras, gazelles, leopards and lions among others.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will check out and go for an early morning game drive. After your game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later embark on a transfer to Masai Mara with en-route lunch.

Arrive in late evening and with en-route game drive head to your lodge for check-in, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day in Masai Mara

Wake up early for breakfast, head to Masai Mara with your packed lunch boxes for a full day game drive.

Masai Mara National Reserve is a renowned Kenya wildlife safari destination popular for its remarkable wildlife sightings including the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration. During the full day game drive, you will enjoy big game sightings with opportunities to spot all the Big Five animals – lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos. You also have an option of visiting the Masai Cultural Village for a cultural experience.

Later in the evening, you will be driven back to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and with your packed lunch, head out for a game drive as you exit the reserve heading back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home
