Detailed travel Plan

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Tarangire national park.

Following your 7 days Tanzania wildlife safari, our guide will pick you from your lodge in Arusha,  brief you about the safari and later you will embark on your drive to Tarangire national park , the drive will take about 2 hours and upon arrival you will head straight for a game drive in the park. Tarangire national park is home to giant baobab trees, large numbers of elephants , wildebeests and zebras that always have predators trailing them for  in order to pounce on them, others include buffaloes,  giraffes ,  elands among others. You will head to your accommodation for relaxation after the game driver. Dinner will be at your accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to lake Manyara national park around Karatu area.

 In the morning after breakfast, you will exit Tarangire national park and drive to lake Manyara national park. Lake Manyara national park is popular for primates, giraffes , Impalas,  lions  and  hosts seasonal soda lake Manyara that is periodically a breeding ground for the flamingo birds , All you will be  to  have an experience of during the game drive.  Later after the  drive you will   head back to your lodge for  relaxation , dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti national park.

Have your breakfast in the morning and later depart to Serengeti national park, through the cool hills of the Ngorongoro down to the plain of Serengeti, it’s about 200Km and it takes approximately 4-6 hours to arrive at the Serengeti. Serengeti national park is characterized by savanna vegetation, think bushes, scattered trees, swamps, lakes, hills and rock formation referred to as kopjes an enabler feature for lions to take cover while hiding to order to get their prey.  Upon arrival you will game drive as you head to your accommodation, you will see lions, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs gazelles, giraffes, jackals, elands, cheetahs, among others. Upon arrival at your accommodation, you will check in have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Full day experience of Serengeti National Park

Get up early in the morning, get your packed lunch and later head out for a full day experience of the great Serengeti national park, Tanzania’s largest national park in terms of access.  While on the game drive you should be able to look out for the wildlife you hadn’t see the previous day in the game drive , maximize your wildlife count on the entire day game drives, visit tracks you hadn’t passed thorugh the previous  day.

Later after a long day you will head back to your lodge

Day 5: Transfer  Back to Karatu .

In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on a drive to Karatu on a game drive, you will exit Serengeti, you will have an opportunity to stop by the Olduvai gorge museum, be taken back   the stories way back to the origin of mankind , later head out through the masai mara homesteads,  Ngorongoro crater area hills  , later arrive at Karatu and   check in at your lodge for a relaxation.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater national park .

In the morning after breakfast, you will check out  of your lodge  and drive  Ngorongoro crater  national park though the cool hills,  the drive will take you aproximateltely 50kms.  Upon arrival you will descend the   crater you will be amazed by the great sceneries that Ngorongoro presents large expanses of the crater. The large crater is home to 25,000 mammals , ranging form rhinos, elephants, wildebeest, lions, leopard’s, buffaloes, gazelles, hyenas, warthogs among others all  you will be able to see in a game drive.   You will have your picnic lunch at the caldera . later continue wity your ride and  later exit the crater and  transfer back to Karatu  or Ngorongoro area where you will spend your  night.

Day 7: Transfer to Arusha.

 In the morning after breakfast,  you will check out of your lodge and embark on a transfer to Arusha upon arrival, you will be dropped at any place of your stay or at the airport for your flight  to your next destination
