Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and after a short briefing about the safari you will embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park.

Take on a scenic route to the Serengeti passing along the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Serengeti National Park is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa renowned for the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Along the journey you will have the opportunity to marvel at the view, enjoy picnic lunch and go for a game drive in the plains of Serengeti watching various animals include wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs among others. Head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – 4: Serengeti National Park – Game Drives

Spend these four days exploring Serengeti National Park on full day game drives with picnic lunch.

Serengeti National Park is best known for hosting part of the Great Migration, every year millions of wildebeests traverse the plains of Serengeti. With zebras, gazelles and others following them on their journey. Predators take advantage of this spectacular gathering to plan their attacks, from lions stalking them to crocodiles attacking them during their river crossing meaning there is much drama during this time.

During the full day game drives there is plenty of animals to see, from the famous Big 5 – lion, leopard, rhino, buffaloes and elephants to an incredibly varied birdlife. There is always something to for you to admire around every corner of Serengeti and with so many animals sharing the Serengeti as their home, the drama that unfolds when they clash is exhilarating.

There are several optional activities to do such as guided walks, balloon safaris and cultural visits to Maasai Village.

Balloon Safaris – soar above the endless plains of Serengeti and enjoy aerial views of wildlife in the park and the spectacular landscape. This activity is perfect for wildlife photographers and watching the Great Migration.

Maasai Village Visit – This activity gives you a deeper insight into the life of the Maasai people, visit their Bomas – villages, be entertained by local dances and drama, interact with the village elders who will tell you several interesting stories about themselves and Serengeti as well.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, you will have a morning farewell game drive through the Serengeti plains as you embark on a journey back to Arusha.

Your guide will drop you off either at your hotel or at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
